Vistra - A Vista visual styler for Windows XP. Following are the features of Vistra 1.0

• Taskbar and Startmenu transparency
• Wallpaper timer (upto 24 hours)

Note: Vistra is a freeware. You can use it anywhere, distribute, modify... do anything you want. Even though the software is tested well, and is working well so far, please note that the owner (ofcourse me) of this tool is not responsible for any damage caused to your system on using this tool. Use it at your own risk.

Also, Vistra will modify couple of your system files to customize Themes and boot skin. The software is having options to restore your original files later if you want. But, please be aware of this information. You can use Windows XP's System Restore feature if you are not confident about this software's restore facility. (Windows help --> Pick a task --> System Restore).

• When "Start Menu" transparency is enabled, there is a chance of getting repaint problem (rarely). In such case, try doing one/all of the following,
  • Change the transparency value of Start Menu using the black slider in the Vistra UI (the bar right to the "Start Menu" button in Vistra UI).
  • Disable "Start Menu" transparency through Vistra.
  • Click "More" button in Vistra then Click on "Vistra Theme" button. This will restore the theme.
  • If none of the above works, just restart the system.
• You can change the transparecy value of Taskbar and Start Menu using the sliders provided in the UI. Value less than 200 will be good enough.
• When restoring XP theme, Vistra will require a restart. After restart, you may need to go "Display properties" to choose your old theme.
• UI = User Interface = Window

• Right click on the Vistra UI to change its background (2 backgrounds available)
• Press + or - key to increase/decrease Vistra window transparency
